Ramo, you need to set him as retired/signed overseas and the system will release him (and his cap-hit) when the expired contracts are processed (at the start of the FA in september i think).

leggendo l'articolo ho avuto la netta impressione che, anche se non lo danno ancora come ufficiale, sia un ritiro.
Chiarelli dice " it's very unlikely Marc will play again"
E lui stesso dichiara "I'm just trying to get through and not worry about hockey right now, just worry about my health"
Cmq, in attesa della LTIR ho sondato la possibilità di settarlo come RETIRED, anche perchè sono molto propenso a credere che non lo rivedremo più in pista....

ah sul fatto che in futuro si ritirerà senza aver rimesso piede in pista credo anch'io sia decisamente la cosa + probabile.

Kyle Quincey at 2.6M for 1 yr
Jonathan Ericsson at 2.5M - for 1yr

=> 7.1M cap contraction for California

Per quello che può valere, a mio parere sarebbe una decisione sensata concedere il ritiro richiesto da Paul per Savard.

Staffan Kronwall is a different case: being set as retired/signedoverseas his cap hit is already off your total payroll, but the system will automatically release him only when all expired contracts will be processed; this season that is going to happen on Wednesday, September 7th.
