Comunque per la cronaca Pargo è stato tagliato e Monty sta provando Belinelli titolare. L'idea quindi per il momento pare essere usare Marcus come 6 uomo e quindi rinforzare la panchina

basta che alla fine giochi più Thornton che WannaBeCobi. A mio parere tra l'altro il ruolo di sesto uomo a Marcus gli calza abbastanza bene.

La second unit resta un'incognita,Peja dovrebbe giocare sia da 3 che da 4.

belinelli ha messo discreti numeri, 13 punti 4 assist e 4-9 al tiro, un buon esordio per prendere la fiducia che gli serve assolutamente, se si riuscisse a confermare su queste cifre sarebbe una stagione molto molto positiva

Anche se devo ammettere che guardo con molto interesse soprattutto Belinelli,deve iniziare col piede giusto...e soprattutto stabilizzarsi a livello mentale

Free-agent center D.J. Mbenga was set to audition with the Hornets in New Orleans on Wednesday, according to a source.

Mbenga has also drawn interest from the Suns and Trail Blazers this month.

A source close to the center indicates that he's close to a deal with the Hornets.

Quincy Pontdexter e Craig Brackins (ovvero due scelte tra la 20 e la 30 non ricordo quali), quest'ultimo girato assieme a Songaila ai 76ers per Willie Green e Jason Smith.

Strawberry (6-5, 205) played in four preseason games for the Hornets, averaging 3.0 points and 1.0 rebounds in 6.8 minutes per game.

The Hornets roster now stands at 16 players.

é stato complicatissimo iscriversi di nuovo, comunque ciao a tutti i tifosi Hornets!

Leggo da più e più parti che ci danno tutti pochissima considerazione, al massimo ultima piazza dei play-off; in più l'1W e 6L in pre-season hanno aumentato queste voci.

Ma nel frattempo Dell Demps sta continuando a fare trade per rinforzarci, non ricordo che abbiamo mai avuto un GM così attivo sul mercato.

Abbiamo tagliato i play Shakur e Strawberry, e preso con una seconda e prima scelta futura rispettivamente altri 2 play: Curtis Jerrels(Spurs...Demps)e Jarryd Bayless(Blazers...Monty). Rispettivamente come secondo e terzo play. E l'ex Blazers mi sembra davvero un signor back-up di Paul, ha 22 anni e secondo me completa il reparto esterni che diventa davvero forte:

Con in più Jerrels e Pondexter, e ditemi che la panchina è scarsa! E un Willie Green che con i suoi 4$ in scadenza a questo punto sarà sicuro ceduto(a maggior ragione vedendo quanto Demps sia attivo), poichè con l'arrivo di Bayless e completamente chiuso in tutti e due i ruoli di guardia.

Capitolo lunghi.
Considerando che Gray è stato firmato "all'epoca" del solo Bower, e che non ha fatto una summer league molto convincente, abbiamo firmato D.J. Mbemba che è si 0 in attacco ma in difesa è sempre una presenza enorme e atletica con una capacità di stoppare e intimidare a centro area rara, ed in più ha giocato ai Lakers: e chissà se non ci potrà servire più in là..... Per me 10-15 minuti di utilità li può tranquillamente dare.
Nota positiva è la buona summer league di Jason Smith l'unico lungo di riserva con un pò di qualità in attacco, che può giocare sia 4 che 5. Poi cè Pops che si giocherà i minuti con Gray e DJ, anche se ufficialmente non è ancora stato firmato, ma ha giocato tanto e bene in summer league e penso che sicuro tra lui e Alexander sarà tagliato il secondo.
Quindi:

OKAFOR-DJ Mbenga/Gray/Smith

é chiaro che nel reparto lunghi non abbiamo tanta qualità, però nel trio West-Okafor-Smith c'è ed è la base di partenza, poi qulche minuto da 4 nelle serate dove è ispirato ci giocherà anche Peja, poi Pops, Mbenga e Gray si giocheranno il posto di quarto lungo a suon di rimbalzi e stoppate.

Ricapitolando, in rotazione dovremmo avere "9 sicuri" più un eventuale decimo ovvero:

Per quanto riguarda il mercato a parte la quasi certa partenza prossimamente di W.Green(per un lungo suppongo), leggevo qua e la che siamo tra le squadre più vicine a prendere CARMELO in un pacchetto dove certamente ci saranno Peja e Thorton, in uno scambio almeno con 3 squadre... Staremo a vedere, cmq sia mi sbilancio: per me siamo tra le prime 4 squadre a ovest.
